This site aims to promote the Setswana language and help learners of Setswana, especially in Botswana.

While the editor can only apologise for a lack of knowledge of Setswana, the hope is that others will join the project to make it a useful resource to both learners and Batswana scholars alike. The project is entirely non-profit making, and is currently a "spare time" activity for the editor. Anyone interested on advertising on the site or assisting financially to pay for data entry would be much appreciated and should contact us.

As well as the wikipedia which contains some help for people learning Setswana, the dictionary is now live with around 800 words. If you can help add more words (or spot mistakes!) please get in contact. Jacob
